Since the beginning of time… Women have used milks, fruits and natural sugars to enhance their beauty. Cleopatra introduced bathing in sour milk to the woman of Egypt, and their desert-parched skin became soft, supple, and more youthful-looking. Marie Anntoinette encouraged her court of beauties to rinse daily with the sediment left at the bottom of wine vats to soften and bring a glow to the skin. In Spain and England women washed their faces with the juice of lemons to even out discoloration…and in Polynesia, women rubbed the sweet juice of the sugar cane plant on their bodies to assure smooth lustrous skin. Without realizing it, these women were the first to introduce real natural fruit acids to the world. In 1987, after 20 years of research, Dr. Eugene Van Scott released his scientific findings on this subject.
